Guest Posts

Not Just Cute is now accepting guest posts.  We strongly believe in the synergy of shared ideas and perspectives.  If you would like to contribute a guest post to Not Just Cute, please consider the following guidelines:

  • Posts should be original in content, and may not be published on another blog prior to or following being published on Not Just Cute.  Partial posts (teasers) posted on your own blog with a link to the full content on Not Just Cute is allowed and encouraged.
  • Content should pertain to the readers and focus of Not Just Cute, meaning posts should support intentional whole child development and the teachers and parents who seek to provide that for the children they love and teach.
  • Posts should be roughly 400-1000 words in length and should be submitted in html or in a pure text format (Notepad, for example).
  • A quality image should be included and attached separately, along with appropriate attribution.
  • Minor edits and formatting changes may be made before publication on Not Just Cute.  More extensive edits may be requested by Not Just Cute and completed by the author.  (Please proofread and edit before submitting posts.)
  • Please include a short (approximately 2 sentences) author bio and a link to your blog if applicable.
  • Please submit guest posts or pitch ideas for guest posts to amanda{at}notjustcute{dot}com along with a little bit about yourself, your post idea, and why you think it is a good fit for Not Just Cute.
  • If your post is selected for use as a guest post, you will be notified within 1 week  along with a scheduled date for posting.  Likewise, if your post is not selected as a guest post, you will be notified within one week, at which time you will be free to use the post on your own blog or other site.
