Happy 4th of July weekend! Even though it’s a holiday weekend, I do have some housekeeping to do, and that includes here on the site. As happy as it makes me to have so many of you reading via email, my host’s server isn’t quite as happy. For those who have been recieving emailed posts sent from my address (amanda@notjustcute.com), you will need to update your subscription before you can receive any more posts.
The great news is that Feedburner provides a free delivery system, which I believe is superior to what I’ve been using and it takes the pressure off my host’s server. Win-Win, right? If your Not Just Cute posts are coming to you with a message that says “Powered by Feedburner” or “Powered by Google” at the top or bottom, you’re already subscribed in the right system. (Congratulations!) If , however, they come to you from my email address or saying “via hostgator” you’re still in the old system, which will soon be disconnected. (Bummer.) I’d love to be able to automatically switch you all over, but because of the procedures set up to protect you from spam, I’m unable to do that.
So I need you to do me a favor. In order to continue receiving free full-text emails of the posts from Not Just Cute I need you to resubscribethrough Feedburner’s delivery system. It should be fairly simple. Here’s what I need you to do in 3 easy steps:
- Subscribe to emails by entering your information in the field with the envelope icon at the top right corner of my blog’s sidebar (www.notjustcute.com).
- Now, while you’re still there on the blog, unsubscribe from the old system by entering your info into the email field at the bottom right corner.
- Check your email for a confirmation notice from Feedburner saying you’ve subscribed to Not Just Cute’s email notifications. This double opt-in method also protects you from spam. You won’t get any posts emailed until you OK it through this confirmation email, so if you don’t see it in your inbox, check that junk file.
I’ve got some exciting things planned, including literacy activities, positive guidance tips, and some great giveaways. I’m even working on a whole activity center filled with fizzing, popping, exploding, and otherwise exciting experiments for kids. I don’t want you to miss out on any of it, so please scoot on over and switch your subscription today!
